Anyone recognize who this Oberstubaf. may be? In second photo this man is speaking to someone who appears to be a Gruppenfuhrer. The last photo is of a squad of SS, can anyone make out the cuff title? Appears to be Hohenstaufen, but even on maximum scans the resolution isn't there to be definitive.

Hi Chris, photo2 is Wilhelm Bittrich who was
to Command the Hohenstaufen Div,it could be
the photo was taken in Holland,the SS Obstubf
is a WW1 veteran with the 1915 medal for
Landflugzeuge,I think?,he is not obviously wearing
the H cuff title but if he is at the moment I can narrow
it down to Othmar Musch who was at the time V(Div
Maintenance Officer) but he was also a holder of the
War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords,not in photo
but could have won it later as people in that Command
usually won that award,maybe Mark Yerger etc can help
anyway terrific photos

Thanks for the reply. I believe you are correct about Bittrich. Not sure what the WW1 badge is in the first photo. There are about 30-40 photos I received related to these 3. All dealing with some type of ceremony. I have to look again and see if I can spot any architecture or something to reveal the location.
