Vehicle ID

Anyone know what this truck is??
I identified it as a French Contract White, which is not correct.
The grille is very similar, as is the radiator cap and I assumed the brush guard had been removed.

Further examination showed that the bumper, windscreen, wheels and a few other items did not agree with my original decision.

I have spent hours looking through my own collection of stuff and googling all sorts of makers vehicles and cannot come up with anything.

I feel it is either a French or an American vehicle but just cannot pin it down.

Any ideas out there
