    Cyrillic/German translation help

    Need some help with a photo ...Thanks to Ade I found out the Cyrillic sign reads "Beregees Poezda" and I think poezda is train the sign is in front of train tracks ,any thoughts on the first word? could be name of the town? the script is from the back of the photo...

      "Bahndamm bei Myr...". Not sure about the last word, but this is a place name. The first two words mean "railway embankment near..."

        It is Mga, close to Leningrad.

          Reading a second time I thought it was Mya, but could not find this in the route planer and Google showed only a singer of this name. But Akira got the right thing fortunately.

              The Russian sign says "Beware of Trains"

              The first word is the imperative short form of the reflexive Russian verb "Berech'sya" which means "to beware (of something)."
