SS Docs Grouping of "Das Reich", Opinions ??

Hy all,

i dont have this at moment, but i have the chance to buy this little group. I realy would appreciate any help on it. Is it real ? Are the signatures real ? Is all matching the dates and facts ? I am not an expaert when it comes to docs. Iam curios that the signature on the EK 2 and Sturmabzeichen doc looks almost the same, is it some sort of a stamp ?
There is also an "Das Reich" Cufftitle in the group, i will post more detailed pics on the SS Forum.

EK 2 and IAB signatures compared. What do you think ?

Then looking at the rank/date of the signature's there is another problem if these are supposed to be Kumm' signature, Otto Kumm was only an SS-Obersturmbannfuehrer at this time!

Not to mention that Kumm was never promoted past Brigadeführer.

J dont like the Kumm signed docs either.


Why would a division commander sign a Sturmabzeichen doc.

J believe this would be done at a regimental level.

As John allready pointed out, the rank doesnt fit Kumms career.

Kumm was promoted Standatenführer 20/4 1943
Oberführer 30/1 1943
Brigadenführer 9/11 1944

So conclusion on my point is they are fake.

J like the cuff title though.
