Just completed a nice collection of war art postcards. This series of 6 watercolors were done by War Artist and Gefreiter Anton Lüdecke with the 4. Gebirgs "Enzian" Division during it's drive through Ukraine.

Very nice!

I have a similar series of "Nordfront" art postcards painted by Ernst Vollbehr. These are not as action packed as yours, but still very nice set since these display "Nordfront" and "Eismeerfront" during 1941/42. This series has 40 different cards, but I am still missing few.

Yes, I know of Ernst Vollbehr's work. I have one card from that series...Bild 44 "Sonnenaufgang über dem Drontheim Fjord vom Quartier des Malers gesehen." If you are interested in it, I would be willing to trade for other GJ cards or items. Let me know.

I have something similar from a gebirgkorps in France campaing (1940), but they aren´t postcards but bigger painting (35x25 cm proximately).

Would love to see a photo of your painting. Is it the one of the Gebirgsjägers in a raft crossing a river?

Dear Bergführerkiser:
Indeep is a lot in a folder with 15 paintings proximately (50% colour and 50 black and white). There is two generals´ portraits, fighting scenes, and several touristic sight.
Now I don´t remember anyone with GJ crossing a river, but I´ll see this afternoon.
Unfortunately I cann´t post pictures in this forum yet.
