Nice portrait and thanks for sharing it on this thread. The stamping on the reverse is the name of the photo Studio (Foto Atelier) and owner Jos. (Joseph?) Faltermayr....town/village is Osterhofen which is between Regensberg and Passau, Germany in the region of Niederbayern (Bavaria).

The U.S. Army Training areas in Grafenwoehr/Vilseck is north of Regensberg and not far from the Czech Republic border. I use to train there as a soldier and work there as an Army Civilian employee.
