I've actually had to cut back a bit on buying photos. It's getting overly competitive on Ebay even for the more "common" subjects that I like.

TerryG's photo is very interesting in that the KvK 2nd class w/swords is being worn with the "1939" side showing instead of the Swas front side ! Cool photo for sure !!!!! Tom

I know what you mean...I cannot count how many auctions I've been outbidded on....I tend to set one bid price and if I win thats fine with me but many nice portraits have gone way beyond what I was willing to pay. There are occasionally some exceptions when I see one that I really want.
