    LW soldier with FG42?

    Hi,

I'm unsure about the rifle on this picture. At first sight I thought about a FG42?
    Thank you for your opinions!

    Best regards,
    Pascal

It looks like a Czech ZB 26.

To me it looks more like the Brengun.
Check the barrel. It lacks the gasreceiver.

I agree with Jan, it's a Bren gun.

ZB = Bren. Bren is the English literam translation of Brno.

The ZB26 is a different weapon.

The British Bren gun was derived from the Czech ZBvz 26, but adapted to fire rimmed .303 ammo, rather than rimless 7.92 rounds.
