Looking for the name of the Oberstleutnant and Abt Kommandeur of this Battalion. in January of 1943.

29.7.1943 Gebirgs Artillerie Regiment 111 received a heavy Battalion through renaming schwere Artillerie Abteilung 852 (heavy field howitzers, former IV/269 in Hamburg) as III/Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 111; 1.2.1944 the Regiment received a new III. Abteilung, the old III. (schwere) Abteilung became the new IV. Abteilung.

I seem to remember your man was Art.269, 852 and 111!

Can't help with the Obstlt. at the moment however.......
