Hi everyone, I was reading up on what little information I could find for ELT Gerhard Kruse online and noticed a discrepancy. On LexikonderWehrmacht it says he was a Hauptmann when he was awarded the DKiG, but on axis history forums and tracesofwar it says he was an Oberleutnant at the time of getting his DKiG. I was wondering if anyone on here had a book which could confirm whether he was a Hauptmann or Oberleutnant when he received the DKiG? This will help with trying to attribute an Oberleutnants DKiG tunic from Grenadier-regiment 48 I bought a few months back. Thanks again all for any help. Cheers, Will
