I hope someone with access to German soldiers’ service files can help me with some details. I once read a German soldier threw himself over a little child near the Palace Park in Oslo to protect the child during a British bomb raid over Oslo on New Years Eve 31.12.1944. The soldier died from splint wounds. I wonder if this soldier was Josef Karlhuber?
