Hello,
I apologize for not having photos, but a friend of mine just got an identity disk for a soldier. It has a roster number of 147 or 47 (the first number was a 1 that appears to have been later scratched out) and a blood group of O. The unit marking is written exactly like this - Krftf. Ers. Bttr. 4/62. Would this be for the 4th motorized transport batterie in artillery replacement regiment 62 or what? I searched the Lexikon der Wehrmacht site but it doesn't show any kraftfahr replacement regiments, only abteilung, and there isn't a 62nd artillery replacement regiment listed.
Thank you,
Dale
