Unit symbols used in Truppernkarten

Anyone knows how is it possible to understand symbols used by german soldiers to indicate units in Truppenkarten?
Thesame symbols used for orders of battle..

There are various publications dealing with tactical symbols including at least one that i know of in english, it's an entire language in itself.

There are various resources on the net for you as well.

Look under Truppenkennzeichen and then Taktische Zeichen.
