Socoa west batterie marine artillerie 286

Hi,

I got a book in today which was signed by a Kptlt. und Battr chef. of the batterie socoa west.I have looked the place up and it is near the spanish border.After some research I found that at that time (1942) there was a part of the Marine artillerie abteilung 286 on duty.
Has anyone more info about the unit or maybe know who a name of the officers in charge?????
