Oberst Heribert Raithel - Geb.Art.Rgt.95

Hello everyone,

I have a photo here showing Hauptmann Feichtmayer to the left and Oberst Raithel next to him. The photos looks to be 1945 dated. If Im correct, Raithel was awarded the Knights Cross in 1941 but the German Cross in 1944?
He does not look to bother wearing his Knights Cross. Can anyone confirm the dates of awarding?
