Who was SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Karl Kappler

Hello all,

Do any of you know anything about Waffen-SS Officer Karl Kappler. I believe he held the rank of SS-Sturmbannfuhrer in 1939. I might not have spelled his name correctly, but I know his first name was KARL, not to be confused with the other Kappler. Please let me know either way. Thank you.

You probably have the wrong spelling

The only Karl KAPPLER listed in the SS Main Registry at NARA is an EM, born 28 October 1909.
