Letter from a SS mann to his family.

Any help on this soldier would be appreciated, If he went on to see
frontline service, or ??

Hi Ypenburg,

The US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) maintains copies of the original SS personnel, RuSHA, unit, and misc SS collections/files that were returned to the Bundesarchiv after post-war US government control. The Bundesarchiv personnel data is generally only available to direct family members, which makes the accessibility to the NARA data that much more useful.

In addition to the SS files, there are similar HEER files and various other military, political, and civilian files available as well.

Lastly, NARA maintains the large majority of US military files from WWII, including several valuable US Intel collections on SS men.
