Two Stuka Pilots Who Are DKiG Holders

    Gentlemen,

I took a look at Kracker Archives to find two little known Stuka pilots who both won the German Cross in Gold in the middle of 1944. They were Oberfeldwebel Heinz Oberste-Sirrenberg of SG-77 and Oberleutnant Heinz Oprotkowitz of SG-2. I need to know how many total combat missions does Oberste-Sirrenberg and Oprotkowitz have before the end of World War II. Also their post-war fates. I know that plenty of Stuka pilots' service records can be incomplete in not knowing the additional assignments and their fates.

    Sincerely,

    Edward L. Hsiao

    A Bit More Information

    Gentlemen,

Oblt. Heinz Oprotkowitz won the German Cross in Gold on March 29,1944. Oberfeldwebel Heinz Oberste-Sirrenberg won his on April 16,1944. I believed they flew until the end of the World War II. I imagined they won their DKiG's after they completed over 250 combat sorties.

    Sincerely,

    Edward L. Hsiao
