Wehrmacht troop movements in France 1944

    Hi-
Trying to find out what divisions were moved from southern France, if any, to Northern France in June 1944 to help contain the allied invasion. Any information would be helpful.

Also wondering if any of the Nineteenth Army under General Wiese lost any divisions to reinforcing the north of France, before they faced Operation Dragoon in southern France.

    Thanks.

In terms of panzer units with Armeegruppe G (southern France), the 19th Armee gave up the 2d SS Panzer (DR) and 9th Panzer Divisions; the 1st Armee gave up the 17th SS Panzer-Grenadier (GvB) Division. The 11th Panzer Division was the only "mobile" division that faced DRAGOON forces.
