I'm wondering if anyone has ever come accross information regarding Panzertrupp "Schill" circa late 1943. Specifically, the unit would have been related to Kommandant des rückwärtigen Armeegebiets 590. My guess is that it was a piecemeal unit that was organized to fight partisans behind the lines (AGC). It seems that Korück 590 was stationed to the rear of 3. Panzerarmee and was responsible for securing their supply and communication lines. Could "Schill" be related to a temporary commander or could it be a glorified title related to Ferdinand von Schill?
