some month ago, i bought a prewar Shirmmüutze with the identify paper tag inside as quite usual on this kind of Visor caps.
The strange thing is that the tag identify a soldier of the 78th Infantry Regiment (2nd Batallion) in the city of Mannheim-Seckenheim and not in Köln where should really be!
In Mannheim-Sackenheim there was the 110 IR. and, after numerously research, i haven't fount any link with the 78th...
May anyone help me to solve this question?
