I have been an avid amatuer historian of the WW2 for most of my life. I have now gotten my 17 year old son into the fever of research and collecting. We have been writing to KC winner recently and have been rewarded with letters and pictures from 3 winner so far:
Otto Carius
Rudolf von Ribbentrop
Erich Rudorffer
I am trying to locate the addresses of several other winners:
Karl Heinz Euling
Eberhard Heder
Oskar Scafer
I am not looking to bother these men but it seems that the ones who have returned the letters that we have sent, were very happy to have someone show interest in their lives and experiences. I also believe that this is a way to bring the human side of the war alive for my son to continue the tradition of interest in WW2 Germany.
I would appreciate any help you could provide on addresses of these three or any other KC winners and Panzer unit soldiers.
