Luftgau and Luftgau-kommando?

Is there any difference between a Luftgau and Luftgau-Kommando, or is it just different terminology for the same command?

Luftgau being the Air District and Luftgau-Kommando being the Air District H.Q. (command!).

So if I have it correctly, the Luftgau was the physical territory that the Luftgau-Kommando was responsible for. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes basically it.....anything you see with Kommando after it is the H.Q. of the preceding name...Luftgau in your case...
