I am doing some research on this unit and trying to understand Composition , Armament and Manpower of this battalion early in African campagne. From Feb to July as part of 5th Lite Division. One source states that battalion had 3 companies each with 9 - 3.7 cm PAK 36 guns and 2 - 5cm PAK 38 guns ( TOTAL 33 GUNS ) . Other source states that each company had: 1 light platoon with 4 - 3.7 cm PAK 36 and 2 medium platoons each with 3 - 5cm PAK 38 guns( TOTAL 30 GUNS). Which one is more accurate and when it comes to menpower per companie how many officers, ncos and enlisted men? Second question is on the crews, was it required to have crew of 4 members in order to operate each gun? And last question , what was a total man count for battalion since each companie had its own transport carrying fuel,supplies,workshop,kitchen etc.
