    Hello All,



    Does anyone have a photo of Lt. General Karl Hansen other than the one shown in "Die Generale des Heeres 1921-1945"......

    Here is some info on him:

    • Prussian Order Pour le Mérite: 8 November 1918, Hauptmann, Battalion Commander in Reserve Infantry Regiment 252. [Awarded for outstanding leadership and distinguished military planning and successful operations on the Western Front. The award also recognized his distinction in action during the massive assaults on the German positions by American and French troops between the Champagne sector and the Maas River during September 1918. The award also recognized his distinction during the battle at Vouziers.]
    • Prussian Royal Hohenzollern House Order, Knight’s Cross with Swords: 22 September 1917.

      Thanks for the pic......... all I had before was the cropped pic from the Das Heeres Generals book..... The body style matches the size and shape of the uniform I have..... However, I'm still hung up on the medal loops... The tunic has loops for 6 breast badges and I was hoping that perhaps a couple were Friekorps.. but I don't see him wearing any in this pic..... Any idea where I might find a pic of him during the Nazi period (40-42) ?
