                Ruhe in frieden!

The loss of Dr Alfred Regeniter was heartbreaking, he was very helpful and took the letter-answering very seriously..

I received an letter from herr Dahlmann in Mars, but I don't know about the situation now..

That explains why herr Simons never answered my letter

                Best Regards

                Johnny

In the online section of one of the biggest German News-Magazines is an article about Hellmut von Leipzig. It mainly concentrates on the fact that he was the driver of Rommel in Africa. At the very end of the article it mentions, just as a side aspect "by the way, later on he earned the Knights Cross".
Interesting to read anyways. Not too often that a leading German News-Magazine writes something somehow neutral about a German Wehrmacht soldier.

Very interesting career, from Rommel's driver to Brandenburg officer and KC holder. Thanks for sharing.
