I never asked nor wrote any RKT for an autograph I was not personally interested in for resale or “just for having it.” Always respected their personal free time after surviving a terrible war. And when I met an RKT or wrote him, I never asked for more than one picture. Always asked for it to be dedicated to me or a friend, so unattractive for resale. I am interested in LAH/Waffen-SS, so I never bothered entering the OdR and rather entered the HIAG-Hamburg Freundeskreis, which was really no easy process! They did a real screening with interviews, etc. Secret meeting places. Nothing over the phone, etc. pp. The day I would need to ask these gentlemen to sign me multiple autographs to make some money off of those, I’ll shoot myself in the head for not possessing the intelligence to make some bucks in a decent, honorable way. Selling autographs for EUR 15-30 a piece is a joke not worth bothering these old fighters for, sorry. There are really a lot of morally poorly developed individuals in this hobby of ours. Cheers,Markus

Every autograph collectors do not make money with the photos signed.
Personally, it's only for my private collection and I give the money to each veteran to whom I request an autographed picture.

Ago in my family one veteran of World War II.

        There are still honest people
