Does anyone know where Remi Schrijnen, Leon Degrelle, and Gerardus Mooyman are buried? I also want to know if there are other RKT buried near Frankfurt, Germany in Belgium or near the Strasbourg/Offenberg area. These are the places I will visit this summer and I want to pay my respects to as many men as possible.
If there are some WWII gravesites in these areas I'd be interested in knowing too.
The ashes of Leon Degrelle have been spread in 1994 by his lieutenant Jean Vermeire from an airplane right above a hill called "Tombeau du Geant" near his native town of Bouillon, Belgium.
I think Gerardus Mooyman is buried in Hoogkerk/Groningen (Netherlands) where he lived after the war until his death in 1987.
It's about 15 kms from my house so maybe I should check sometime.
The Ritterkreuzträgers Arnold JÜRGENSEN (SS-Sturmbannführer) and Adolf REEB ( SS- Obersturmführer ) are in the cemetery of Recogne (Bastogne) in Belgium.
