Can anyone help me with what unit(s) this feldpost number belongs to?

10076 B.

It's written on the inside of the skirt of a model 42 German Army helmet I have.

(1.8.1943-23.3.1944) 14.10.1943 Stab u. 1.-5. Batterie schwere Stellungs-Werfer-Abteilung 103,

(1.8.1943-23.3.1944) 17.1.1944 Stab III u. 7.-9. Batterie Stellungs-Werfer-Regiment 101,

(24.3.1944-6.11.1944) 10.8.1944 gestrichen.

In other words, the 1 Battery of Stellungs Werfer Abt.103 which subsequently became the 7 Battery of Stellungs Werfer Regiment 101.

Destroyed at Cherbourg in the summer of '44.

I have a « barn find condition » M40 Wehrmacht helmet
Nice untouched condition with the name of Gefreiter KAMINSKI with the feldpost nummer 10076 B
This helmet was found many years ago in Normandy near Cherbourg.

Yes, as Simon already mentioned, this unit was in the Cherbourg area during June 1944
