Years ago I read in Frederick Forsyth's "The Oddessa File" {also showed in movie loosly based on book} of a Wehrmacht officer with Knights Cross & Oak Leaf cluster was killed by SS Officer Roschman in OCt 1944 in Riga Latavia.
