Requesting additional information from Forum members on the below pictured paratroopers that served in North Africa. Specifically interested in confirming both were members of the Brigade Ramcke Jul-Nov 1942 (or served in Tunisia).
The first portrait is Jäger Winfried Gesemberg, pictured in Edgar Alcidi’s book, Fallschirmjäger Brigade Ramcke in North Africa 1942-43. The author is unfortunately not available to fill in details about Gesemberg’s story. Also interested in making contact with the current owner(s) of Gesemberg’s ID disc and cloth para badge pictured in the book.
The second set of photographs (field photo and portrait) are of the same paratrooper. Looking to put a name and FJ unit to this unidentified officer. Feel free to PM me. Any assistance is greatly appreciated in advance!
Regards,
Mike
