As part of my continuing history of the 357. Inf. Div, I am looking for information about the schwere Panzer Jaeger Abteilung 614 and 653. Were on of these units equipped with Elefanten and was it in the area of Zborow (southern Ukraine) by Hill 411?

* auf Verfügung vom 31.3.1943 in Bruck/Leitha durch WK XVII aus der Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung
197; die erste Kompanie September 1944 in Italien bei der 14. Armee aufgelöst, die zweite 1945
umbenannt in Panzerjäger-Kompanie 614; Abteilung zuletzt Tiger und Elefant.

2. Unterstellung:
Heerestruppe: Italien, Dezember 1944 Ardennen (5. Panzerarmee), zuletzt 1. Armee Saarpfalz

3. Ersatz:
7 München, WK VII; 2.3.1945:17 Freistadt, WK XVII
