I have decided to furthur research my U-Boat medical kit and can use some help before jumping in. Kreigsmarine is really out of my area;so anything will be helpful. What I'm tring to do is find out a as much as I can about the history of U-Boat 926.Where is the best staring point in researching the history of particular U-Boat activities, any reference books that come to mind would be helpful or web sites. Tis is what i have so far:

Fate Surrendered in Bergen, Norway on 8 May, 1945. Became the Norwegian submarine KNM Kya. Stricken 1962.
According to the captain's diary this boat never went to Scotland like many sources claim but was one of only 3 U-boats left in Bergen when over 30 boats were transferred to Scotland in late May and early June 1945. The others were U-324 and U-1202.
Men lost from U-boats
Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-926 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
