Are you sure he's a General and not an Oberst? The Waffenfarbe doesn't appear to be white- it looks more like Fliegertruppe Goldgelb to me.

No problem Ricardo- being that he's not a General, I'd think it'll be rather harder to learn who he is though...

Possible he rose to General rank.

One good clue that could narrow things down substantially- he appears to be Austrian, wearing Austro-Hungarian ribbons (aside from the 1939 EK II ribbon) for World War I service.
