    Hi guys
    I look, I look ... and I still do not know what it is
    "Luftwaffe Observer's Badge. Zinc wreath. Silvered eagle, made from Cupal. The eagle is not riveted as usual but soldered. Lovely patina. A badge with "character".
    Can anyone help me ... thx

          I was looking at that badge thinking the same thing, the catch is a giveaway (It helps I recently got a S&L glider pilotbadge with the same style catch)

          Any proof that S&L made these wartime ?

                        Hello everyone,

                        Thanks to Gary for letting us know about this thread.

                        This grouping came of the veteran's family exactly as it is. We changed the description on these two badges and are certainly sorry if we have made a mistake here.
                        The veteran must have bought them in the early postwar years. There is no way these were added by a collector really.
