I am not sure that JMME und Sohne ever produced fliegerschutzen badge with this type of wreath with that variant of swastika, i have only seen examples where upper arm of swastika is cut off, also i dont like how rivets are looking as well and it seems that eagle doesnt have green tinge which is typical for this maker. Be very cautious with this badge.

Hi Eric,

I can only agree with the guys, the badge itself is an original JMME badge. Started its life out as a ROAG, but at some point had the bolts cut off to make it an Airgunner. Whether this was done wartime or postwar is not known.

The swastika is messed with as well, so not a badge I would be interested in owning. I bet if you looked closely at the side of the badge, we would see that a new swastika has been neatly soldered onto the only denazified one.
