    Short Range Day Fighter

Hello guys - looking for a bit of help from the specialists: This is a rather nice, well-made badge, but I note that Stephen Previtera does not list Deumer as a maker of any of the flight clasps in his reference. Nor do I find any listed here. So.. is this a previously unknown wonderful discovery , an original unmarked badge that someone has 'improved' by adding a maker's mark, or just a quality badge that happens to be fake from start to finish?

Thank you Tom! Another for the junk drawer. Fortunately in this case, the investment was only time.
