Retired Pilot Badge - Help with Verification

Hallo,

I am new to this forum and I would kindly ask experts for your input on the Luftwaffe retired pilot badge -I have purchased online earlier today ...

I don't have any other pictures than one posted on dealer site ...

I have never seen this badge before apart from pictures posted on various websites

Hi Tom,

Many thanks for your input I have finished being charged £30 off the asking price -money refunded I wonder about militaria dealers principles offering same badge over and over again as this was commission based sale someone got conned already but supporting such activities by so called "reputable dealer" sounds funny

Ya, I have to agree with Tom and Seb on this one.

If you look closely at the wreath, swastika and eagles head, you will see the poor detail reflection where the cast of this badge gives it away as poor quality and molding which the original true badge looks nothing like this.

I'm glad you were able to get your money back. The thing I learned in my short time collection is that even if you are pretty sure on the badge or whatever it is, post the pictures here first for some review. It doesnt cost you anything but time but will save you from purchasing a fake and you will get a little free education from those who comment on your item.

Never feel like you can't post something here for review and comments. You will find that there are a lot of nice people here who will lend you their invaluable knowledge in order to help you.
