The most known and trusted one should be a CEJ marked piece with 3 rivets and a barrel hinge. Sorry no good pics and I do not have one

Dear Joe,

They are so rare that it doesn´t make sense to have them on the "must have" list just to check them off.

I have only seen real ones in books. Every show here in Germany has one for sale. Go figure. Expect to sell the restaurant for a real one!

At Gunzenhausen a couple of years ago, a guy was walking around selling them. A lot of dealers bought them.
They were aluminium pieces, cannot remember if they were maker marked. But dangerous copies anyway.

Yeah, I figured that it would be a utopia piece to have. Well, how about suggestions on where to find a good repo, so I can finish my LW display. I’ll be at the Max show, maybe I’ll find a good repo their, I'm sure there will be plenty.

Yes, they will have some. But I think it will ruin the display of your other hopefully good Luftwaffe badges to have that repro in the display with them. Just my opinion. Just get that one out of your head.

Or have it tattoed somewhere.
