    Luft badge

Hi found this today. It's minus its pin but looks good to me.
Is this a early badge ?

This one saw better days but original late war BSW IMO.

Maybe it is an original that has suffered in the ground for many years but the soft details suggest to me it is more likely a cast fake. Just my opinion.

          Best wishes

Judging by reverse plate, rivets and edges of the badge I should say that it's an original zincer, probably the details of the front plate seem soft because damaged

              Thanks guys
The badge was found in a house clearance last week with some other bits and bobs but unfortunately not the pin. The guy that found it said he has lightly cleaned hence the poor condition
He has been told never to clean anything again

Here is mine (of a similar pattern) just to compare.

                Best wishes

Yep, a fine original BSW for me as well, but not in the best condition and unfortunately missing its pin and hinge.

                      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
