    Assmann unmarked RO/AG?

Yet another unmarked badge from my collection, though I believe this one made by Assmann, any other opinions would be welcome.
    Cheers
    Colin

            Hi Colin,

I can only agree with Frank, very nice indeed.

            Here is his marked brother

Congratulations to both parties on owning these fine, early 2nd pattern examples..
                Warmest Regards ... John

This gives me another backflash, thinking about what happened three years ago on this very forum. We discovered a Tombak Assmann marked RO/AG in one of Carsten Baldes´ updates. We discussed it here and nobody dared to order it, as we thought, it might be a very well made fake!
I lived in Munich back then, not so far away from Carsten´s shop in Ulm. I volunteered to drive there and take a look at this "unknown badge". I ended up buying it. Just goes to show what a big leap forward we have made since then!
                  Cheers, Frank

Thank you for your opinions guys, I notice your badge is'nt as cut out on the lightning bolts as my one Philippe, I don't have the Assmann marked piece in buntmetal, though the only other I have is in Aluminium and that has the whole cutout too, will do a search to see if I can find more, great badge though, I will need to find some more nice PABs to tempt these badges from you.
                      Cheers again

1st pattern has a very different wreath and eagle design, although I have only seen it in Alu so far. Does anybody have a 1st pattern Tombak example?
                          Cheers, Frank

                            Dear Frank,

Compare the file marks on both of our badges. Really amazing how close they are. I think we had the same enthousiastic professional "filer" working on both badges

Colin you had an other "filer" working on yours, he did a much more subtile job but then again, most likely he was fired because it took him to long to finish a badge

1st pattern RO/AG.. In Alu'. Still hunting for an example in Tombak.
Interesting to note how close the Assmann and Juncker 1st pat birds, are.
