Luftwaffe GAB and Flak Review please.

    G-day everyone.

I am a little new to collecting and would greatly appreciate your opinions on a potential purchase from e-stand.

What I suspect to be a LW GAB Osang Zinc (Brass Eagle) Marked and a Ball Hinge Zinc (2nd Pattern) Unmarked have caught my eye. (Thanks to Tom for the Gallery of Original Badges (Database) and I would appreciate any feedback regarding these examples.

My apologies in advance at this time I only have these 4 pictures available to assist.

    Thanks you for your time.

    Cheers Nate.

      Hi Nate,

Both look good to me, especially that ball-hinge Flak Badge.

      Best regards,

            Hi Nate,

Firstly, welcome to the hobby and especially to the WAF forum, best place on the net if you are interested in badges and awards

I can only agree with my colleagues, both look to be fine originals. The Osang LGAB's pin looks a bit messed with near the hinge, not sure what is going on there but other than that both nice originals. Especially the ball-hinge flak, gorgeous condition.

            Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks very much for your feedback Tom, Frank and Mats, I appreciate it.

It's great to have such knowledgable people around to help out.

Just yesterday the forum saved me from buying an incorrect Luftwaffe Eagle, Tabs and boards set which was offered on e-stand as a Luftwaffe major set. It seems there was heer cavalry oberstleutnant boards in the Luftwaffe set. Hopefully the seller and I can come to an understanding shortly.

Thanks again for your time and knowledge, it's priceless.

                  Cheers Nate.
