The word I used in German "unsinn" I assumed to be "nonsense", suggesting someone is "talking nonsense" is'nt really what I would call uncivil, however if my translation on "unsinn" is off base then I sincerely apologise to Chris for my light humoured document.
The point of course was to show that a document can be doc-tored - pun intended - to what ever you want it to be, and to suggest that the fact that Jack Angolia prints a doc in one of his books that purports to be a Sea Battle badge document means we can now all accept that that badge has been "proven" awarded is ridiculus. IMO.
Fact is in the years I've been visiting this forum the only people I've seen ever defend these badges are people who own one, or have sold some and therefore have a vested interest.
If the badge is real I'm surprised WARLORD puts the price of a silver at only £350. price on these babies seems to be dropping .....indeed like a lead balloon.
My apologies again if I caused offence, it was'nt intended as anything other than a laugh.

I put forward a doc as seen in a book. This doc I believe was found by Chris Bozia. I have never owned such a piece. As to the Ballon badge, well I would be happy to purchase one as I see as original for £350. This is not bringing the price down just what I would be happy to pay. as yet i have note been offered one. PLEASE OFFER ME ONE. PLEASE, PLEASE.

This award was rendered in the East, thus the probability of finding one is greatly reduced for very obvious reasons

Well, both Le.Geb.Beo.abt.18 and 38 both had a ballonzug, both were active for years on the Eastern front and in Finland and both ended the war in Norway. If the award was rendered and any sort of paperwork, perhaps even medals and photos survived i could well imagine both these units being prime candidates.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

We are talking about the possibility of a balloon badge doc, I remember Chris talking about the vet he met in regard one of these badges or other, if memory serves correctly he said the vet never got the badge.. only paperwork, so in fact Chris's experience - if my memory serves - DISPROVES the existance of the badge not the other way round, I thought though, and again it was a while ago, that Chris met someone who was on paper awarded a balloon badge not Sea Battle, though really I would'nt buy either of them anyways.

Your posting seems to be alittle confused. Any way at best please do not buy a Ballon badge. I again say I would be very happy to buy a silver class as per that which is considered original for £350.00. As yet I have had no takers?

For me the source is you... YOU published it

The Balkan shield is a direct quote from the veteran. You must have seen the insignia he gave me. I can say no more than that which he spook.

These are as it happend. You must prove it did not.
I dont need to prove anything. For me all the above examples are totally, completely suspect. (You forgot to mention the fake doc )

For me this "Prove it" stuff is baloney...

(I have a BDM awards for the Sportführerin with the bounciest and biggest pair of titties, a special behind the scenes award from Goebbles.... I do, I promise you. And if you dont think it existed....prove it... seriously... proove to me that award was never made and awarded.)

Maybe people think this topic is boring but they should remember that it started with one of us willing to put REAL money into a balloon badge and asking for advice.

I am not confused WARLORD, no-one was awarded i.e. had one of these badges put in their hand... correct?

Perhaps the reason no one has offered you a balloon badge considered original for £350 is because no-one, exept yourself it seems, considers them original. Perhaps you should run the ad " £350 paid for all your fake balloon badges "

You have omitted to talk about the statement the factory you claimed made these things was indeed bombed..

Well ok I will remain confused and give these fantasy items a miss, however that badge Chris mentioned about the big boobies.. how much?
