Hallo Val,
Both super nice original IMME set textbook all the way. The gold clasp case is a fake one.

Yes that is what I thought as I seen the case. The texture and colour is so different to the originals I know.
What about the cases for the Fliegerschützen? I guess they are right to the badges?

Hi Val,
I can only agree with the others, the IMME ROAG and COAG are both fine originals, but the clasp case is a fake one as Seb says.
TomIf it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a littleNew Book - The German Close Combat Clasp of World War II

Removing the Bilitzbündel was quit common....
You dont know why they are removed?

Originally there was only one badge in existence for air gunners and it had lightning bolts. Later a distinction was made between Radio Operator Air Gunners (who still received the badge with lightning bolts) and Flight Engineers and other non-radio operators, who received the badge without bolts. While a new badge was being prepared it seems a short-term fix was to issue badges with bolts removed. Later still the qualified status of Flight Engineers was recognised and yet another badge was created for 'unqualified air gunners', who had no other trade but gunner. This badge carried an eagle without bolts and was on a black wreath, leaving the eagle without bolts on a silver wreath for Flight Engineers. A confusing history!
