Hello Joe, I understand that Juncker made everything marked and unmarked. Or should I say many unmarked nice pieces get claimed as unmarked Junckers because they look just like marked ones. Were they Juncker? We they subcontracted out? Were these Junckers old dies sold to another since they have just aquired new ones? Were these unmarked ones made by someone else wanting to be as good as a Juncker as you last pointed out? Man, our questions are endless. I think Gordon put it into perspective the best. I'm paraphrasing here but he said that all makers made badges and medals for every pocketbook.

"Hello Sir, what can I do for you today? A Luftwaffe badge? Well, we have several to choose from. How much did you want to spend?"

Mark has a wonderful point of view of the times back then and he makes alot of sense. I always like his well thought out replies. (PS. don't annoy him he can blast your post from 2000 miles away)

I also think JNoble and Frank put it best. I tend to accept the simple common sense approach. Everything else added here is just a guess, sure these discussions make sense and they could have happened, but maybe they didn't. It's all a guess as to why Juncker marked, changed the mark, or didn't mark their badges. Yes, and it can be frustrating and confusing like reading the Bible, but I won't go there.

Joe, were you on board when we discussed the Juncker Aux. Cruiser badge in depth? Lorenzo Brown opened a discussion with a well thought out theory (with captivating pictures) that the unmarked Aux. Cruiser badges, commonly refered to as Schwerin type, were in fact Junckers. I know I am not to stubborn to accept this as very probable. If you missed it, here is the link:

      http://216.40.238.215/~admin1/forums...hlight=Cruiser

The problem is, we dont have a marked Junckers to compare it to, to be 100% positive, so until that happens, we are kind of in a limbo to be certain.

So where are these unmarked Juncker Luft badges? I want to see one in a side by side. (other than the flak badges)

Accidentally offending people on the internet since 1997

        Dear Joe,

Judging by your last comment, I assume you think that all Junckers Heer Flak badges are unmarked. That is NOT the case. There do exist as many marked as unmarked Juncker Heer Flak badges. At least members mmiller and me have marked examples in this forum.

        Cheers, Frank H.

I believe Kai Winkler has a Juncker marked one for sale on his site as well.
          Best regards,

          Tony

I guess , that get the feel for what the concept is and will accept it based on what we've heard back from everyone.
