I don't like it. Symmetry from known originals is way off

Boy, these are sure tough & as Seb mentioned pretty darn hard to find so not many examples to compare it to. But I do like this one, but as per the posts a bit of differences of opinions regarding authenticity and there are concerns.
Nonetheless, if the price wasn't crazy I would add it to my humble collection.

              Hey Greg,

I know that this badge is rare and I also know that it has few equals. I know 6 pieces of which are believed to be original.
The price is crazy! But I would not put pieces in the collection, if I'm not convinced that it is an original. Not even if it had a low price. I appreciate the opinions here very much, but I do not know how to interpret your opinion. Perhaps it is because of the different languages that we speak.

Bullion badges are really difficult to assess. On this one I am with Gene. The wear looks a bit odd to me and potentially artificially applied. The badge itself looks rather crude and the eagle's head is off in my opinion. It is a very personal thing and comes down to irrational things like 'feel' but I would not take a 2500 Euro gamble on this one. Just my opinion.

                    Hein,

Bullion creations like this show tons of variation. There are things I like about this and things I don't. But I'm on my phone, and I I'll reserve my final vote until I'm in front of the computer. Can you post a high resolution shot without any watermark? That will help.

                      Hein,
Sorry for the confusion. What I was trying to get across is that many pieces are controversial and different collectors will have different opinions on the authenticity of the piece. With your bullion clasp different collectors have different thoughts on it, so it's not 100% good, at the right price (low) I would add it to my collection. Hope this helps.

Much of this is nicely done, some of it is not. There is a huge amount of variance from one bullion piece to another. There are fewer of these particular bullion badges around, so collectors sometimes use the few surviving examples as the range of what's acceptable and what's not. I disagree with that, but to support others who have commented here, it's what you're comfortable with. We all need to make our own decisions at the end of the day.

I think it will be easier to see if you post a clear, high-resolution photo of the entire front and back without any watermarks.

                        Best regards,

                        Jason

                          Hi Guys,

once, thank you for sharing your opinions.
Now my opinion or assessment has consolidated. Partly through your votes, of course, by your opinions via PM. Since I did not want to make it too easy to me, I've caught up with expertise.
I start from a 100% genuine and I am happy to have the piece in my humble collection.

Again, Thank you and best regards:

                          Hein
