    New and interesting LW clasps

These all came in from the same collection and a couple of really interesting pieces in here.

First up gold fighter clasp with either a front made or perhaps trial piece 500 mission pendant, never seen anything like it but I love it!

Sweet FLL transport clasp with original 1500 pendant- note the identical finished on clasp and pendant

Lastly an early bronze transport with a couple of interesting differences- NO cutouts and check out the catch! This catch is known to have been used by Juncker on some of their zinc products but I haven't seen it on a tombak badge that I can recall

            Hi Patrick,

All very nice and interesting. I particularly like the last one, brass with no cutouts and thick wire catch, that is a first for me. Very believable though, no signs of replacement and as you say, Juncker is known to have used this catch on many of their other awards so a nice little discovery IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Unusual 500 and 700 pendants there...did they make those variations?

Thanks for the comments Guys and George as stated in the posts- no! The 700 pendant is post war either 57er or possibly repro. The 500 I think is great and IMO wartime probably made as a manufacturers test piece as the quality of the detail is too good I think to be a front made item.

The 700 pendant looks like a Souval one i saw in a collection not to long ago.
