a dream of a cased tombak FLL P/O badge

I got these 2 cases and the badge recently from a FW190 fighter, who was formally a observer.
My question is, which case belonged to the badge? It sit how I showed it here, but I´m not sure.

Please give your advice, you experienced Luft collectors smile wink

The badge is a dream, it is more then mint, I bet it was never out of its box...

    Thanks for your kind comments!

Stunning PO Meth . It can be pair with both cases but I would take the right one. The left one is a later case.

Gorgeous FLL indeed. Like Seb says, the earlier case would be more appropriate for this relatively early PO IMO.

I think, it was delivered with the earlier one. I found it inside, and believe they were together since the war.
Most probably he was shot down (end of 1944) wearing the missing one ...

Wow! Super piece! I agree with Tom and Seb on the case!

You know, if you really want to be sure which case it fits in send it over here to the states and we will get a good hands on!

Holy smokes! The PO & early case are super-duper. Similiar to the 1 we all saw at SOS.
Wouldn't hurt to keep both cases as they're not easy to find.

                          Congrats!
