    Honor Goblet

Dear all, I am looking for the Honor Goblet of my great-grandpa, Feldwebel Willi Pick at 20.05.1942, maybe someone knows were it is? Please send me everything you know, also as email on gcutter@gmx.de

Your great grandfather is listed in the thread below, which should mean someone has provided evidence of the existence of the Goblet. I suggest you send a private message to Wilco and ask him if he could put the owner in touch with you:

This brings up a question but if Gcutter is Family and Can prove beyond a shadow Can Gcutter make a play for ownership with the argument that it was stolen after the war?....This kind of thinking is Bad I know but its realistic and could put a damper on everyone "SHARING" their collections on a worldwide Forum.

I was very careful to say the current owner would need to approach gcutter and not the other way around.

I think this is a good point, next time I will give a better description for my search...

I know it will be very hard to find it, and the actual owner must be wiling to sell it, just because I´m a relative, but I know the prices and he will be able to buy another one, but for me this one has a personal connection

Unfortunatelty I have just some Pictures, no other documents or awards , but I can approve that he was a relative of me and that I´m not just a collector, maybe with the family register, or the location of his grave etc...

All I know are the stories my father and grandmother (his daughter) told me, he was flying a Ju 88 at the KG 54, he was in netherlands, france, russia, italy, greece at the end of the war he was a flying teacher and 1945 deployed in Prag

                        Hello

I was not asking so to prove your relationship. I just wanted to know if you had any other items.

Do you know how the goblet was sold? Was it with other items or on its own?

The goblet was sold togehter with an photo album, without an award document, or other award like the iron cross....I just have copies of the fotos

                              Good luck with your search.

My Great-uncle (Gefr Karl Frass) was a Bordfunker with 5/KG54 and killed in an accident at Ganserndorf 4 Aug 43 in Ju88 B3+AN wr1058. My father is his only surviving relative and all we have of him is his death card and a few photos, we got some copies back of his military records a few years ago but that is all. I'd love to get hold of his Flugbuch but I imagine like a lot of things it never survived the war.

Please keep us updated with your progress, Prost!
