Inheirited this badge. BSW-marked. Have heard that its both real and fake. Wondering what the group concensus was.

it seems original to me, but the catch is repaired, probably the pin too as been reattached to the hinge, a closer picture of the hinge would make it clearer

So, if the badge is real, what does a repaired hinge & pin do to its value? Not sure what I should be looking to get out of a badge like this.

BSWs are not the most treasured or sought after unless attributed to someone famous. Then with repairs. I'd say depending on the day maybe $300-350. I does hurt the value quite a bit.

Thanks for the info. At least I know if I am sitting on early retirement or scrap metal.

I will set it out on my table at the next local show and see if anything happens.
